In cases where the equipment can only provide a single flow rate and concentration of H2S04; then the concentration must be set to a single level to avoid problems. The following table (Table 3) gives suggested maximum concentrations at 1.0 gpm/cu. ft. diluted acid flow rates to obtain reasonable operating capacities and regeneration times while avoiding calcium sulfate related problems.
