Weak base anion resins
RESINTECH WBMP
ResinTech WBMP is a very rugged styrenic weak base anion resin, suitable for general water treatment. It has the highest capacity of its type on the market. It works well as the anion component of a two bed demineralizer where alkalinity and silica removal is not important. Approximately 10 to 20 percent of its exchange sites are quaternary ammonium strong base sites. The resin exhibits extremely good rinse characteristics, and usually provides an elevated pH throughout the run.
RESINTECH WBACR
ResinTech WBACR is an acrylic divinyl benzene intermediate base resin. Although it has no true strong base capacity and no trimethylamine exchange sites, it can remove some amounts of carbon dioxide. It requires relatively large volumes of water for rinsing, and can be a good candidate for replacement of an epoxy polyamine, because of its unique ability to remove carbon dioxide.
RESINTECH WBG30
ResinTech WBG30 is an epoxy polyamine that is granular in shape. It exhibits a very high capacity and is best for one time use in cartridges or waste treatment applications. It can be regenerated with a useful life expectancy of only about 10 regenerations. ResinTech WBG-30-B is the bead form of the weak base epoxy polyamine and is suitable for regenerable applications.
