Drinking Water Filtration

American-made POE/POU filters in standard drop-in sizes.

Aries filters contain genuine ResinTech virgin ion exchange (IX) media and carry the WQA Gold Seal indicating they are safe for drinking water applications. All Aries filters are 100% made in the USA. Each filter is available in four (4) standard sizes for point-of-entry (POE) and point-of-use filtration systems. Here's how to determine what part number to ask for:

Naming Convention: AF-XX-1234-XX


Filter Length:

All Aries filter part numbers/SKUs begin with the prefix "AF-". The two digits after the prefix indicate the filter length.

To order a 10 inch filter, ask for a part number that begins with AF-10". To order a 20 inch filter, ask for a part number that begins with "AF-20"

AF-10-1234-XX  or  AF-20-1234-XX

Filter name: 

The four digit number in the middle of the part number /SKU, after the product length, represents the product number or application. Those product numbers are indicated for each of the products shown.

Example: AF-XX-1234-XX

 

Filter Width: 

All Aries filters come in two standard size widths — 2.5" ("Slimline") and 4.5" inch (Big "Blue"). To order a 4.5" "Big Blue" sized filter, just add the suffic "-BB" to the end of the part number/SKU.  To order a 2.5" (Slimline) filter, you need do nothing.

Total PFAS Reduction

Aries Total PFAS removal cartridges utilize a high purity strong base anion resin exhibiting an unusually high preference for multiple PFAS compounds. The filter is selective for a wide variety of Per- and Polyfluorinated compounds including; PFOS, PFOA, PFNA, PFHpA, PFHxS, PFBS, and PFDA.

Chromium Reduction

Aries Chrome Reduction Cartridge contains ResinTech SIR-700 media for the selective reduction of Chomate. Frequent exposure to HEX-chrome has been know to cause cancers of the respiratory and digestive systems as well as liver and kidney damage, skin and nasal irritation, ulcers, and damage to the eyes.

Fluoride Reduction

Aries Fluoride Reduction cartridges utilize the advanced media technology of ResinTech® SIR-900 media, a synthetic aluminum oxide that remove fluoride by a chemical reaction with the media. ResinTech® SIR-900 has minimal shrinkage /swelling and low-pressure loss, and can be used over a wide pH range.

Nitrate Reduction

Aries Nitrate Reduction cartridges use ResinTech® SIR-100-HP resin. Its unique functionality offers twenty-five times greater nitrate affinity than standard strong-based anion resins. This cartridge reduces nitrates efficiently with low leakage, and eliminates the possibility of nitrate dumping upon exhaustion.

Perchlorate Reduction

Aries Perchlorate Reduction cartridges use ResinTech® SIR-110-HP, a strong base anion resin exhibiting an unusually high preference for perchlorate as well as certain PFAS compounds. The cartridge's perchlorate reduction capacity is virtually unaffected by the presence of sulfates.
